27.07.2025: 9th AI Salon: Intelligence (DLC)

For the AI-Salon “Intelligence” on 25 Juli we invite you to a discussion to rethink intelligence with us through the fascinating world of slime moulds. Together with our invited guest speakers, the artist, researcher and educator  Heather Barnett, the researchers Roshani Madurawala (Institute for Materials Science  & CRC Neurotronics, CAU Kiel) and Jannes Freiberg (Institute for Psychology & CRC Neurotronics, CAU Kiel), as well as the students Mariama Danso and Hannah Wetzel, we will look closer at the one cell organism Physarum polycephalum, which shows intelligent behaviour without a nervous system or a brain.
