THE SWERVE ist ein interdisziplinäres Time Based Media Lab für das Unvorhersehbare, initiiert von Prof. Annika Larsson. Es ist eine Plattform für Performance, Bewegtbild, Klang, Experiment und Sozialisierung und begrüßt spontane, situationsbezogene Begegnungen. Mehrmals pro Semester laden wir andere ein, an einem performativen Abend teilzunehmen.
Die Veranstaltung findet im Rahmen von NUKLEUS Kiel statt, einem interdisziplinären Kunstprojekt unter der kuratorischen Leitung von Sven Christian Schuch. NUKLEUS Kiel versteht den städtischen Raum Kiels als Forschungsfeld, in dem internationale Künstler:innen und lokale Studierende der Muthesius Kunsthochschule über mehrere Monate an künstlerischen Interventionen arbeiten, die Fragen zu urbaner Teilhabe, öffentlichem Raum und demokratischem Zusammenleben aufwerfen.

THE SWERVE is an interdisciplinary Time Based Media Lab for the unpredictable initated by Prof. Annika Larsson. It is a platform for performance, the moving image, sound, experimentation and socialization, embracing spontaneous situated encounters. A few times per semester we are inviting others to join us for a performative evening event.
The event is done in the frame of NUKLEUS Kiel, an interdisciplinary art project curated by Sven Christian Schuch. NUKLEUS Kiel sees Kiel’s urban space as a field of research, and where international artists and local students from the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design are working for several months on artistic interventions that raise questions about urban participation, public space and democratic coexistence.
